New boss for RES Software

Workspace management software vendor RES Software has appointed Klaus Besier as its new chief executive.

In the role, Besier will be responsible for overseeing the vendor’s global expansion plans. His predecessor, Hans Middelburg, left the company in January to head up IT consultancy Madcap.

Besier has chaired the vendor’s board of directors since October 2009 and said he was “pleased” to be formalising his connection with the firm.

“With more than 2,500 global customers, and more than 1 million licences sold worldwide, RES has built an impressive track record and foundation for growth,” Besier said. “There is a tremendous opportunity and demand for the firm’s solutions and the company expects to see significant expansion across all global markets.”
