Appspeed was founded in 2004 primarily based on knowledge of Citrix and thin client technology. It was becoming apparent that whilst Citrix resolved many IT issues, new challenges were created which provided an opportunity for a number of new products and technologies to be developed in order to provide a much improved Citrix/Server Based Computing experience.
Our expertise in this market enabled us to identify key building blocks that help deliver a more effective and complete Server Based Computing Solution using best of breed technologies.
AppSpeed has grown by focusing on these complimentary technologies and by identifying gaps in the market for a Distributor to offer the focus and expertise to create a UK Channel for these products.
Appspeed has developed organically in response to market demand and whilst retaining a focus on Server Based Computing and Virtualisation, we have broadened into the Security and Technical Services sectors.
Typically our products ensure improvement of performance, capacity (more users per server), manageability and security ensuring a better quality and more efficient system for the end user whilst providing a valuable commercial advantage and differentiator for the reseller.
